Available in both classic and contemporary finishes, they’re designed to keep your trousers secure while upgrading your look from basic to bold.

X-Back vs Y-Back: Find Your Fit

Our braces come in both X-back and Y-back styles, referring to how the rear straps join when worn. While it’s down to personal preference, X-back braces provide added support and comfort, making them ideal for all-day wear or work situations. These are available in both 25mm and 35mm widths, while Y-back braces are available in 35mm only for a clean, streamlined look.

Leather Ends vs Nickel Clips

Choose your preferred finish:

• Leather ends (button-on braces): Attach directly to buttons sewn into your trouser waistband for a refined, traditional style.

• Nickel clips: A practical option featuring pressed clips with soft plastic inserts that grip securely without marking fabric.

Both finishes feature nickel adjusters, allowing for a perfectly tailored fit across different body types and shirt styles.

Width Options: 25mm or 35mm

Need extra support? Go for the 35mm wide braces—perfect for heavier trousers or active use. Prefer something more subtle? The 25mm style offers a sleeker, lighter option while still maintaining structure.

Braces or Suspenders?

In men’s style, the terms braces and suspenders are often used interchangeably, but the function stays the same: keeping trousers sitting right where they should. Traditionally a staple in formalwear, men’s suspenders are making a comeback across casual and smart-casual outfits too.

From weddings to workwear, a good pair of trouser braces doesn’t just hold your pants up—it brings sophistication to your look. Pair them with a bow tie and pocket square for a classic ensemble, or layer them under a suit jacket for a subtle, polished finish.
