How to care for your leather goods

Leather is like a fingerprint; presenting individual characteristics such as colour, markings and texture. It is also a natural product, having a tendency to sometimes shape and discolour overtime. For these reasons, it is important to follow the below care instructions to ensure that your leather goods remain in good condition for longer.

  • If you choose to use a specialised leather cleaner, carefully follow the instructions. It is important to always test any cleaning products on a hidden part of the accessory first as the use of some leather cleaners may mark or discolour the leather.
  • Clean smooth leathers with a damp cloth. It is recommended to wipe the leather rather than rub to avoid damage.
  • If the leather product becomes wet, let it dry naturally. Avoid extreme heat or humidity as this may damage the natural oils and cause irreversible damage.
  • Do not leave leather goods in direct sunlight.

Belt sizing

Your waist size should equal the measurement between the strap turnback to the middle hole as shown in the diagram below. This is the size that is stamped on our belts.
